About CDEC
The Continuing and Digital Education Centre (CDEC) was established in the 44th senate held on April 8, 2022 and was subsequently approved in the 49th Board of Governors meeting held on June 17, 2022.
Objectives
Continuing and Digital Education Centre (CDEC) is a centre at MNIT Jaipur which helps to provide resources for online courses and digital course materials. It would also allow to enhance and create better relationship with business/government entities through certificate programmes. The objectives of the CDEC are as follows:
- To offer facilities for the creation and conduct of digital course material and online courses.
- To improve and build better interactions with industry/Government organisations through certificate courses for the continuing educational requirement
- To create technically skilled manpower for nation-building
- To facilitate faculty members conducting various kinds of training programmes by creating a single-window service facility
- To facilitate organizing programmes/events such as Self-financed Short Term Courses, AICTE-QIP Courses, TEQIP sponsored Courses, GIAN Courses, NPTEL Courses, SWAYAM Courses, Industry Specific courses, Credit-based courses, Courses for Government schemes like GATI Shakti, Skill India.
- In due course, CDEC should strive for becoming self sustainable and subsequently a revenue- generating centre.
